Sooqua wins TU Ideenwettbewerb – Startup & Innovation Day 2019 at Darmstadtium

Sooqua, who will start incubation at ESA BIC Hessen & Baden-Württemberg in 2020, won the TU Ideenwettbewerb of the Technical University of Darmstadt in the category „scientists“. They pitched and were honoured on Thursday, 12th December 2019, at Darmstadtium during the Startup & Innovation Day. Dr. Frank Zimmermann, managing director of cesah, had been in the jury.

Sooqua is a SaaS-Solution (Software as a Service) for Water Utilities and private Companies. It analyzes Sensor Data with Machine-Learning Algorithms and thus shows the Networks Realtime Status. Sooqua helps to minimize Leakage and prevent Pipe Bursts. The team has already been selected for the ESA BIC programme in Darmstadt and will enter next year.

cesah attended the fair area of the Startup and Innovation Day as exhibitor. The event organised by HIGHEST was a very good opportunity to network, to attract new candidates for the ESA BIC and to work on fruitful coorperations. HOSTmi wins 2nd place of Forbes Space Award

HOSTmi won the 2nd place of the Forbes Space Award! Despite a very strong competition against 13 other highly innovative startups, they could land a high position on the podium. The Startup Pitch Competition at the NSE ExpoForum in Rome was organized by Fondazione E. Amaldi together with LIFTT, Forbes Italia and Space Generation Advisory Council. HOSTmi is an online B2B platform for the matchmaking process between space-payload owners and space-service providers.

RideLink wins Hesse Challenge of Galileo Masters 2019!

Our start-up RideLink is 1st price winner of the Galileo Masters 2019 – former European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) – in the regional challenge of Hesse! Stefan Kaufmann was honoured on Wednesday, 4th December, in Helsinki. Second and third price went to RoadEO and OKAPI:Orbits. Xylene won the Galileo.Copernicus Synergy Challenge. "All in all it was a very successful competition for our participating teams", said Donata Pedrazzani, manager of the ESA BIC Hessen & Baden-Württemberg, based in Darmstadt.

Zusammen mit unseren Partnern der Europäischen Raumfahrtorganisation ESA, dem Hessischen Landesamt für Bodenmanagement und Geoinformation, Digitales Hessen, der High-Tech Gründerfonds Management GmbH und TechQuartier präsentieren wir Ihnen ein spannendes Programm zu aktuellen Themen aus der Raumfahrt, der digitalen Geoinformation und deren Anwendungen. Dr. Rolf Densing, ESA-Direktor für Missionsbetrieb und Leiter des ESOC, wird die Konferenz eröffnen.

Die Veranstaltung ist traditioneller Auftakt der jährlichen Ideenwettbewerbe "Galileo Masters" und "Copernicus Masters" in Hessen. Die Vorjahressieger präsentieren ihre innovativen Ideen.
